General rules for every bet you place

These rules apply to all games on the site, on desktop and on mobile. Where a game has its own rules, paytable or help screen, those apply in addition to the rules below and take precedence on matters of play.

  • One account per person. You may hold one account with us, in your own name and with your own payment methods. Our games are for players aged 18 and over, and play on an account opened by anyone under 18 is void.
  • Real-money and bonus play. Real-money rounds draw on the cash balance shown in your account. Bonus funds are used in the order set out in the cashier and follow the terms of the promotion they came from.
  • Bets are final once placed. A confirmed bet, spin or hand cannot be changed, cancelled or refunded because of a change of mind, a misclick or a closed browser window.
  • The stake you select is the stake that applies. Double-check the stake, line count and any side bets before you confirm, as the game uses the settings in place when the round starts.
  • We hold a gaming licence and verify accounts. We may ask you to complete identity and payment checks at any time, and we may hold a withdrawal until those checks are complete.

Games are supplied to us by third parties and run on their servers. A game may be updated, placed into maintenance or withdrawn at short notice.

How bets and spins are settled

Every round is settled by the game server, not by your device. What you see on screen is a display of a result that has already been recorded. If the two differ, the server record decides the outcome.

  1. The result recorded by the game server is final for all purposes, including payouts, bonus progress and any open wagering requirement.
  2. Wins are calculated using the paytable and in-game rules shown in that game's help screen at the time the round was played.
  3. The theoretical return-to-player (RTP) figure for each game is shown in its information or help screen. It is a long-run average across a very large number of rounds and says nothing about any single session.
  4. Results come from a random number generator, or from the cards, wheel or dice used at a live table. Earlier results have no effect on later ones.

Malfunctions and interrupted games

A malfunction is any fault in a game, its software or the systems that run it which causes a result, payout or balance to be produced incorrectly.

  • A malfunction voids all pays and all play. Any win, balance movement or bonus progress caused by a fault is void, whether or not the amount has already appeared in your account, and we will correct the balance to where it should have been.
  • Voided stakes are returned. Where a round is voided, the stake is credited back to the balance it was taken from.
  • Disconnections. The game server keeps the state of an open round. Most games resume from the point of interruption when you reopen them; others settle on their own and credit any win to your account.
  • Rounds that cannot be resumed. If a round can be neither resumed nor settled, it is void and the stake is returned. Look at your account history before replaying a game after a disconnection.

If a game behaves unexpectedly

Stop playing, note the game name and the time, and contact us on live chat or at support@casinosmoothspins.co.uk. Carrying on with a game you believe is faulty makes it harder to establish what happened.

Bonus funds and promotional play

Bonus funds, free spins and other promotional credits are governed by the terms of the promotion they came from, read together with our general bonus terms. Where those terms and these rules differ, the promotion's terms apply to that bonus.

  • A maximum stake applies while a wagering requirement is open. Rounds played above the stated maximum may be void and any winnings from them removed.
  • Games contribute to wagering requirements at different rates, as set out in the bonus terms. Some games do not contribute at all.
  • Any cap on winnings from a bonus is applied when the wagering requirement is met, before funds move to your withdrawable balance.
  • Betting patterns designed to secure a bonus advantage rather than to play the game, such as low-risk staking that covers most outcomes of a table, may lead to the bonus and its winnings being removed.

Live casino and table games

Live tables are hosted by a dealer and run to the rules published in each table's help screen, which cover card and wheel procedures, side bets, payouts and table limits.

  • The dealer's decisions are final on matters of play at the table, including the handling of cards, chips and the wheel.
  • Late bets are not accepted. A bet must be confirmed before betting time closes, even if chips still appear on your screen.
  • Table limits apply. Minimum and maximum stakes for each table and each bet type are shown at the table.
  • Procedural errors. Where a card is misdealt or a result is declared void, the round is handled as the table rules direct, which may mean the round is void and stakes returned.
  • Table chat is for play at the table only; dealers cannot discuss accounts, payments or promotions.

Queries and disputes about a settled round

If you believe a round has been settled incorrectly, tell us and we will look into it against the server record.

  1. Write to support@casinosmoothspins.co.uk or use the live chat on the site.
  2. Give us the game name, the date and approximate time, and the round reference if the game shows one.
  3. Tell us what you expected to happen and what the game showed instead.
  4. Where you can, leave the game closed until we come back to you.

We will confirm receipt, check the round against the records held by us and by the game supplier, and give you our answer in writing. If you are not satisfied with it, our Complaints Policy sets out how to take the matter further, including the alternative dispute resolution service named there.

Playing within your limits

You can set deposit limits, take a time-out or self-exclude from the limits area of your account at any time. Free, confidential support is available from GambleAware, GamCare and the National Gambling Helpline, and GamStop lets you block yourself from the gambling sites covered by that scheme in a single step.
